I purchased this desk for the value. It was really cheap compared to other desks that I looked at. It's sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. All you need is certainly a screw driver. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but its not too little. It's not at all something that I will keep forever, but also for a college student it's a great buy!

This piece is ideal. Perfect size. Ideal color. And perfect design, right through the assembly level. I was extremely impressed with the simple putting this together. Right from opening the field and taking each well packed piece out, to laying them out on the floor with every part marked with a letter or number for ease in identification, incredibly impressed. Though it took me around 3 hours to full, it could be because I’m 68 yrs previous and my eye don’t see aswell, my fingers don’t constantly do what I'd like and it is problematic for me to get right up and down off the floor. Every piece, nut, bolt, dowel, etc., fit exactly where and how it will. Once I put it in its place in my own home and added my files, it even now impressed me with how it appears and how wonderful the drawers operate. Many thanks Wayfair, for another superb item!
