This desk is perfect for the area and excellent for the price we paid. This is a serious MDF build with thin real wood veneers. The chocolate color pictured is very, very dark and nearer to an "espresso" color. The guidelines are well thought out. The corresponding letters for the desk pieces were stamped on the unfinished edges of the parts. If you look for them, they carry out correspond. I think the only piece certainly not labeled was the backing to the drawer/shelf side, but that piece was clear as to where it proceeded to go during assembly. It had been on sale, so after taxes it was around $107. With that being said, had this table been more, I don't know if I would have purchased it if it had been more than $120 all-in. With all of that said, I'd purchase this desk again easily ever needed an upgraded or addition!

I loved that it was so easy to put together! It looks wonderful in my own room. Feels sturdy, decent top quality for the price. The lament was pulled from the corner, but not significant more than enough to send again. Glue could fix it...I simply put that aside against the wall. Also one of the cable addresses came broken..no big offer if you ask me. The wood grain best is more brown than grey like I was wishing, but still looks good.

Cost effective for my money!!!! I usually never write reviews, but as you see this is for reasonable. Its because I am totally satisfied with my office table. Beats my expectations in every single way and I will recommend this piece to anyone searching for top level finish material for less money.
