This desk is ideal for the area and excellent for the purchase price we paid. This is a heavy MDF build with thin wood veneers. The chocolate color pictured is quite, very dark and nearer to an "espresso" color. The guidance are well-planned. The corresponding letters for the desk pieces had been stamped on the unfinished edges of the parts. In the event that you look for them, they do correspond. I believe the only piece certainly not labeled was the backing to the drawer/shelf side, but that piece was clear as to where it went during assembly. It had been on sale, so after tax it was around $107. With that said, had this table been more, I don't know if I would have purchased it if it had been more than $120 all-in. With all that said, I would purchase this desk again if I ever needed a replacement or addition!

Very solid office furniture - love the grey color. I did so need a second couple of hands to place it together. If you've put furniture alongside one another before, the pictures are detailed enough to get the job done. The USB hub is normally a good touch. All pieces arrived very well labeled and in great shape. I am so pleased with this purchase!

This desk is really an attractive furniture piece if you manage to put it together right. there are various steps and the instructions come with zero words. you need to put it together just by looking at pictures. some people may be fine with this, others might not. however, in the instruction booklet you will find a number listed in the bottom of each page you could call to connect you with a person that will guide you through assembly when you are unsure about something. it is very easy to make a blunder which can potentially conclude messing up the finished product, but i suppose this is the risk you take in buying a product that isn't pre-assembled.i really like the rich dark color and texture of the "real wood" it is made out of. initially (and touch) it certainly does appear like it's real real wood. although, as other reviewers have noted it does scratch very easily. you merely have to be careful when setting up it and transporting it. it will stand up to daily tasks easily though. i covered my desk in previous towels when moving it and the final is fine.i really do not understand why other people have complained about the product not being real real wood. i was never under the impression that's what i was obtaining when i ordered this. if having a desk made out of solid wood is important to you then it would oftimes be best to begin looking at desks within an increased price point.total for the money you pay it really is great, my just complaint is the instruction manual that comes with it and the sturdiness of the final. this piece will not transport well.pros: good value, attractive, safe-keeping, largecons: not durable, not transportable, difficult assembly

BEAUTIFUL furniture!!! Goes perfectly with my women cave decor!!! Great quality super easy to assemble!! I was scared of the white color but it is so easy to take care of. I will be purchasing another when back in stock.
