This desk is exquisite for the area and excellent for the price we paid. This is a hefty MDF build with thin solid wood veneers. The chocolate color pictured is very, very dark and closer to an "espresso" color. The guidance are well thought out. The corresponding letters for the table pieces had been stamped on the unfinished edges of the parts. If you look for them, they carry out correspond. I believe the only piece certainly not labeled was the backing to the drawer/shelf side, but that piece was obvious as to where it went during assembly. It was on sale, so after taxes it was around $107. With that being said, had this table been more, I don't know if I would have purchased it if it was a lot more than $120 all-in. With all of that said, I'd purchase this desk again easily ever needed an upgraded or addition!

This piece is perfect. Perfect size. Excellent color. And perfect design, through the assembly level. I was incredibly impressed with the simple putting this together. From opening the container and taking each well packed piece out, to laying them out on the floor with every piece marked with a letter or number for ease in identification, incredibly impressed. Although it took me around 3 hours to total, it may be because I’m 68 yrs old and my eyes don’t see aswell, my fingers don’t definitely do what I want and it is difficult for me to get right up and down off the floor. Every part, nut, bolt, dowel, etc., suit exactly where and how it will. Once I located it in its place in my home and added my data, it still impressed me with how it looks and how pleasant the drawers operate. Many thanks Wayfair, for another wonderful item!

I bought this desk mainly because a birthday present for my 12 year older daughter, it came directly on time, the portions were perfect without damages. The size was what I predicted. will take at least 4 hours to assemble. The entire piece is very heavy, so asemble it where you want to place it. overall tidy look. the bookshelf is quite practical and fits more books than it seems too which is wonderful, the ony issue was that it took 4 time to assemble ( my husband and 12 year aged assembled it). Ensure that you read assembly guidelines very carefuly. Overall great table, precisely what my daughter needed and predicted.

This desk is fantastic! First got it in the cappaccino color, and it's beautiful. Great storage capacity but doesn't look big and heavy in my office/guest room. Uncertain why people have said it's child-size table- maybe because it's only a simple desk? But I needed something less bulky merely to hold my printer, notebook computer, and some office supplies, and for that, it is best. I can't believe I got it at such a great price.
